1. Age Limit:
Age limit is 35 years as on 24-10-2016 (40 years for SC & ST candidates, wherever posts are reserved).
Serving Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen; Persons with Disabilities and meritorious Sportspersons are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt of India orders.
2. Important Instructions
MBA Degree should be in HR/Business Administration for applying for the post of Administrative Officer; Finance/Banking Public Systems Management for
applying for the post of Accounts Officer; Marketing or Materials Management for applying for the post of Purchase & Stores Officer. Candidates possessing MBA Degree other than those mentioned above are not eligible to apply.
Graduation/Post Graduation (other than MBA/ ACA/FCA/FICWA/AICWA/PG Diploma in Materials Management) should be in First Class with minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.3 on a scale of 10.
Experience should have been obtained after possessing the essential educational qualification. Experience should be in the relevant fields like Administration, Finance & Accounts in a Govt. office or a public body or a commercial organization of repute.
Supervisory experience, wherever mentioned, should be at least in the Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 (Pre-Revised)/Level 6 of Pay Matrix
There should also be the communication skills, leadership qualities and familiarity with the computers and relevant software packages.
The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and the same does not automatically make the candidate eligible for written test/interview.
3. How to apply:
A candidate can apply only against post of Administrative Officer (Post no. 1 & 4) or Accounts Officer (Post No. 2 & 5) or Purchase & Stores Officer (Post No. 3 &
6). For each post number, separate application to be submitted online with prescribed application fee.
The application for on-line registration will be hosted on the ISRO web-site between 04/10/2016
and 24/10/2016. Candidates may visit our web-site at www.isro.gov.in to register their applications on-line
between 04/10/2016 and 24/10/2016. Applications will be received on-line only. Upon registration, applicants will
be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be given in the application CORRECTLY and compulsorily. The on-line application has to be
invariably followed-up with a 'No Objection Certificate' from the employer concerned, by those already in
employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies, duly indicating
the name and Reg. No. on the reverse.
4. Application Fee
There will be an Application Fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) for each
application , for ISRO and PRL posts. After registration of application on-line, the candidates have to down-load and print the personalized
payment challan form, in triplicate, from the ISRO system which will contain Name of the candidate,
Registration Number, Receipt Account Number, Advertisement No., and Post code. The candidates may visit the
nearest branch of State Bank of India for remittance of application fee to Receipt Account (32034064593), by using the personalized payment challan of State Bank of India
on any day between
04.10.2016 and 25.10.2016. The candidates may down-load and print the personalized payment challan from the
ISRO system on any day between 04-10-2016 and 24-10-2016 and remit the application fee before the prescribed
last date i.e, 25.10.2016. Upon remittance of the application fee, one copy of the challan form will be retained by
State Bank [Bank copy] and remaining two parts will be given to the candidate. Out of the two challan parts, the
candidate has to send one part of the challan form [ISRO copy] to Administrative Officer(ICRB), ISRO Headquarters,
Antariksh Bhavan, New BEL Road, Bengaluru - 560094 by SPEED POST superscribing on the envelope "ICRB -
RECRUITMENT OF OFFICERS" within 7 days of filing of application and in any case not
later than 01.11.2016. The remaining copy of challan form [Applicant copy] shall be retained by the candidate for
future reference. The payment shall be made through challan only. Payment of Application fee in any other
form like cash, cheque, draft, money order, IPO, etc, are not allowed. Applications in respect of which copy of
challan form, after remittance of prescribed application fee [ISRO copy] is not received in ISRO HQ, Bengaluru on
or before 01.11.2016, will not be considered for further processing under any circumstances.
5. Women candidates/Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST); Ex-servicemen [EX] and Persons with
Disabilities (PWD) candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee. However, after registration of
application on-line, the candidates have to down-load and print the personalized registration confirmation form from
the ISRO system which will contain the Name of the candidate, Registration Number, Advertisement Number,and Post code for future reference
6. The candidates who are already employed under Central Govt/State Govt/PSU/Autonomous Body have to send a 'No
Objection Certificate' from the employer concerned, duly indicating their Registration Number and Post Code to the
Sr. Administrative Officer [ICRB], ISRO Headquarters, Bengaluru within seven days of filing the applications on-line
by the candidates and in any case not later than 01.11.2016.

8. Selection Process
The qualification prescribed is the MINIMUM requirement and the same does not automatically make candidates eligible for written test.
Based on the academic performance and bio-data, initial screening will be conducted. The written test will be conducted on 11.12.2016
[Sunday] at eight venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. However, the Organisation reserves the right
to cancel/change the written test venue and re-allot the candidates to any other test centre. The call letters for written test to the short-listed candidates will be
sent only by e-mail during the first week of December 2016. Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for interview, the
schedule and venue of which will be notified. Those who secure minimum 50% marks each in both objective and descriptive type questions in the written test
with minimum 40% in each part will be considered for short-listing for interview. However, depending upon the vacancies to be filled-up in each zone,
a higher cut-off percentage may be prescribed. Those who secure minimum 50% marks each in written test and interview with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks
will be considered for empanelment in the order of merit, subject to number of vacancies notified. In case, sufficient number of SC/ST candidates are not available for filling-up the vacancies reserved for these categories, relaxation will be extended to candidates belonging to the respective category, to make good the short-fall
9. Pay and allowances
Selected candidates will be appointed as Officers in the Level 10 of Pay Matrix in CCS (RP) Rules 2016 and will be paid minimum basic pay of Rs. 56100/- p.m. In addition, House Rent Allowance [HRA], Transport Allowance at the prescribed rates in force at the place of
posting will be paid for those who are not availing Departmental Housing and Transport facility, respectively. The employees will be governed by the National Pension Scheme.

On employment in ISRO, other facilities are available such as medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidized canteen limited housing facility for fresh
entrants in lieu of HRA, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, advances for construction of house, etc.

10. Other Conditions/Instructions:
The posts are temporary, but likely to continue.
The appointees are liable to be posted in any of the Centres/ Units of the Indian Space Research
Organisation/Department of Space situated anywhere in India as and when required.

Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed to and fro second-class train fare by the shortest route from the city indicated in the on-line application form to the place of interview (change of address and city for the purpose will not be entertained)
